Megan & Curt | Part One

Gorgeous St. Mary's Wedding in Massillon

It is very rare that I split one couple's big day into a 3-parter on the blog. But because Megan and Curt had such an amazing day - split between three equally amazing locations - I felt I had no choice but to show you each individually to keep you from hitting gorgeous overload from too many pictures at once! So today, I share with you part one - the fabulous wedding ceremony that took place at the breathtaking St. Mary's Church in Massillon, Ohio.

Let's start out with a bit about Megan and Curt. As crazy as it sounds these two Floridians actually planned a destination wedding in Ohio!! Megan and Curt are both originally from the area, so it only made sense that they get married here amongst all of their friends and family, no matter how crazy it might have seemed to their Florida friends! You might be asking yourself how these two lovebirds from Northeast Ohio found each other anyway, well I will leave that story for Part 2 of this series, but as a hint, Megan's neice is also known as the "Matchmaker!"

Megan said that she and Curt had a running joke - while they were dating, Curt would say casually "let's keep this going." So before the festivities began, Megan wrote Curt a note with those words on it and gave it to the flower girl to give to Curt. It was so cute!
