8 Simple Poses for Engagement and Wedding Pictures
1. A MOMENT TOGETHER
This more of a time to capture than a structured pose. But it's super easy and adorable. Sometime during your engagement or wedding portrait session, take just a moment together where you soak in everything that is going on. Hold each other, laugh together, or just relax for a minute. After all, during this time in your lives, so much is going on and you don't get to just have a moment together very often. Enjoy it, and capture it so that you can re-live it for years to come.
2. BEHIND HIS BACK
I love this one. Just have the groom stand with his back to the camera and one arm around the front of the bride. A sign isn't necessary, but adds an extra bit of cute!
3. THE KISS
This one's totally timeless. Capture THE big kiss, however you want. You can even cover your kiss (like with balloons or a hat below) and the picture is still all about the kiss. This is the best time to get lots of kissing pictures, so take advantage.
4. BRIDE FRONT AND CENTER
This one is SO EASY! The groom just stands behind the bride and puts his hands around her (either around her waist or her shoulders). Next, kissing can take place or whispering sweet nothings in her ear. Whatever works best for you!
5. THE FOREHEAD KISS
This one is definitely the sweetest. What girl doesn't love a forehead kiss? Capture this adorable moment during your engagement or wedding session so that you can share it with your grandkids one day!
6. BACK AGAINST THE WALL
Find a wall, any wall... and do this pose.
7. LET'S SEE THE BLING
8. KISSES FROM THE BRIDE
This one is my favorite! What better way is there to capture the love and excitement during an engagement or wedding portrait session than to show the bride hugging her man and kissing him on the cheek. And the proud and happy look on the groom is just so swoon-worthy. I absolutely adore this awesome pose.
