Vintage Downtown Canton Club Wedding
This wedding day is one of the most special and emotional that we’ve ever gotten the privilege to be a part of. Candyce and Beth have been together for a very long time and it’s so obvious that time has allowed their love to grow so strong for eachother. These two have been through so much and they manage to fight through life together with lots of fun and laughter.
Here are a few facts about this couple and their vintage downtown wedding day at the Canton Club:
Candyce and Beth have been together for over 10 years!!
No one expected Candyce to wear a dress – it was a huge surprise when everyone saw her walk down the aisle.
Candyce was worried that she would mess up repeating the vows while exchanging rings – and she did – and she (and everyone else) busted out laughing when it happened (you can see the photographic proof later in this post). It was adorable.
Candyce and Beth both wrote their own extremely heartfelt vows for each other before exchanging rings, and everyone’s emotions (and tears) were flowing. As you could imagine, it made for a pretty emotional ceremony!
After the first kiss – Candyce & Beth took a selfie (complete with a selfie stick of course) of them with all of their guests.
Candyce lost her mom – but she was very much still a part of the day in a few different beautiful ways.
I could go on and on about how amazing this vintage wedding was. But instead, I will share with you the gorgeous pictures now!

Beautiful Rustic Wedding at Hoover Hall, North Canton
This couple is so sweet and their beautiful wedding day was perfect at Hoover Hall in North Canton. Alyssa and Pete chose to have their wedding on Alyssa’s grandparents’ anniversary. None of her grandparents are alive to attend the wedding and she wanted to honor them by keeping their anniversary a special day in their lives. It was also important for Alyssa and Pete to include their family in the different facets of the day – from the bridal party to the decorations and even the officiating of the ceremony – their brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and parents were all included! Alyssa and her mom even bonded for a year shopping for the decorations that would all go together to make the day turn out exactly how Alyssa dreamed it would be!
Here are some more facts about this couple and their rustic Hoover Hall Wedding:
Alyssa and Pete wrote their own vows and they were so unbelievably sweet!
It was supposed to rain on their wedding day, but the day before, Alyssa told me she wasn’t going to allow that to happen. And somehow, she succeeded! Even when it looked like dark clouds were approaching, the entire day managed to go by with no rain at all!
The guys in the bridal party all wore ties to represent Ohio sports teams (Browns, Indians, Cavs, and Ohio State were all represented).
Alyssa’s dad sang a song for one of the couple's first dances together as husband and wife – and it was incredible!
Anne Marie’s Fine Jewelry was able to have both of Alyssa's grandmothers’ wedding diamonds mounted into her wedding band.
Alyssa and Pete’s dog babies were heavily involved in the day – not only were they a part of the ceremony, but they were represented during the reception in an adorable way too! You'll see in the pictures later in this post!

Megan and Chase shared a fairytale wedding complete with the princess in her beautiful ball gown (and lots and lots of glitter)! It seems like every wedding we've done this year has gotten more emotional than the last - and Candyce and Beth's big day in Canton was no exception to that. There were so many emotions - from tears to laughter the whole entire day. I don't think there was one dry eye in the house during the ceremony and then again during some of the reception speeches. And the laughs were never far behind! To see how much love Candyce and Beth have for each other - and how much love their guests also have for them - is an experience we won't soon forget. We are so proud to have been the selected photographers there to share this day with them, especially since Beth is a photographer herself and from what we're told, she knows what she wants! This was a unbelievably amazing wedding to be a part of, and we are excited to share these sneak peeks with you until the full post comes out next month (complete with full vendor list). Enjoy!

How fun is this dad who choreographed a fantastic first dance with his daughter to surprise all of their guests?!
In honor of Father's Day, we thought it was only appropriate to put together some of our favorite moments between fathers and daughters throughout the weddings we've photographed. We love how awesome, adorable, and sweet all of these dad's are!
